Unanchored: How
Barack Obama and the
Democrat Party are
Moving the US Away
From Western
Political Tradition
From the Hebrews to the Greeks to the Romans to the
American Founding
Fathers, religious
and political values
- often described as
the Western
Political Tradition
- were developed
that enabled the
creation, growth and
success of the
United States of
America. Today's
Democratic Party
stands for
principles and acts
in ways that are in
complete opposition
to that tradition.
Our featured
speaker will be
Brian Dennis,
a business and
estate planning
attorney. Brian
will provide a
historical
perspective of who
we are as a polity,
and then provide
practical
suggestions for
turning our
country's direction
back to the ideals
of the Founders.
Brian Dennis is an attorney
in private practice,
working in the areas
of estate planning
and business
transactions. Born,
raised in and a
life-long resident
of the San Fernando
Valley, he is
married and the
father of a teenage
daughter. A
graduate of Loyola
Law School, Los
Angeles, CA, he
holds an
undergraduate degree
in Politics from
Brandeis University,
Waltham, MA.
He also served as the West
Coast representative
for the American
Friends of The
Hebrew University,
where he helped
donors with
Charitable Gifting
and Planned Giving.
In 1986 he was a
Republican candidate
from the San
Fernando Valley for
the California State
Assembly. |

Stephen
Schochet
Stephen Schochet
is a member of
the Westside
Republicans and
is a true
conservative.
He is also a
tour guide in
Hollywood. Over
the years he has
acquired a lot
of interesting
and humorous
stories about
the denizens of
"Hollywood." He
has written a
book which was
recently
published,
appropriately
called " Hollywood
Stories."
It is a
collection of
stories about
the famous.
Stephen
Schochet
|
Stephen is
going to tell us
a couple of
those stories.
You will also
have an
opportunity to
purchase the
book. I have
read the book
and I found it
to be highly
entertaining,
humorous and
interesting.
I am sure you
will as well.

SFVRC Business
Roster |
|
Do Business with
fellow Republicans
In these tough economic times we have decided to help each other out
economically.
We are preparing a
business roster of
Republicans for
SFVRC members. This
will be merged with
a county-wide
business directory
that is being
prepared by LA
County Republican
Clubs.
We are encouraging
all of our members
to patronize the
businesses of our
fellow members and
Republicans. If you
need goods and
services, why not
have them provided
by your fellow
Republicans?
For those of you who
would like to have
your business listed
in our business
directory, please
send an email to:
BUSINESS@SFVRC.ORG
. Provide your
name, the name and
street address of
your business, your
business phone
number, your
business web site
address, and your
email address. Also
provide a
description of the
services you provide
or the type of goods
you sell.
We would like to
publish this
directory by May, so
please send in your
information. Send
an email to
business@sfvrc.org
with the above
information.
