A
Lecture by
Seth Lipsky
- February
1, 2010
Seth
Lipsky
is the
founder
of the
New York
Sun and
its
former
editor-in-chief.
In
addition,
he was a
finalist
for the
Pulitzer
Prize in
editorial
writing
in 1991,
the
founding
editor
of the
Forward
newspaper,
and a
former
contributing
editor
of the
Wall
Street
Journal.
Seth
Lipsky
will
present
a
lecture
and book
signing
on his
new
book,
The
Citizen's
Constitution: An
Annotated
Guide.
His book
provides
a
running
commentary
on the
Constitution,
sentence
by
sentence,
and
often
clause
by
clause,
or word
by word,
in a
highly
readable
fashion,
infusing
every
provision
of the
document
with
color
and
background,
and
highlighting
its
meaning
in an
era of
big
government
and
shrinking
freedoms.
The
Citizen's
Constitution
makes
the case
that
Americans'
age-old
rights
and
privileges
are more
critical
- and
more in
need of
understanding
and
defending
- than
ever
before
in our
history.
It is a
book
that is
both
erudite
and
entertaining,
and
could
not be
more
relevant
to
current
events.
The
lecture
will be
given at
the
Skirball
Center,
2701
North
Sepulveda,
Los
Angeles
at
7:00pm
on
Monday,
February
1, 2010.
Please
RSVP to
RSVP@cjhsla.org
or call
(818)704-0523,
or you
can RSVP
online
here,
or click
on the
graphic
below.
This will be
an event not
to be missed.
The cost is
$10 at the
door.
The San
Fernando
Valley
Republican
Club is
pleased to
be a
co-sponsor
of this
enlightening
presentation,
along with
Children of
Jewish
Holocaust
Survivors,
The David
Horowitz
Freedom
Center and
the
Republican
Jewish
Coalition.

In these
tough
economic

have decided
to help each

We are
encouraging
all of our
members to
patronize
the
businesses
of our
fellow
members and
Republicans.
If you need
goods and
services,
why not have
them
provided by
your fellow
Republicans?

Help support the San
Fernando Valley
Republican Club.
There are very
important elections
coming up in 2010
for Assembly, State
Senate, Congress and
Senate, as well as
statewide elections
for Governor. We
want to build a war
chest to use to help
get Republicans
elected in the San
Fernando Valley.
Please consider a
contribution.
