The final push!

In this final 72 hours we have to ensure success to the Victory '06 campaign by doing everything we can to make sure that Republicans vote.

We need you at the phone bank - 22025 Ventura Blvd, Suite 205. There is no question that the phone calls are effective in getting out the vote.

We need YOUR help, so please volunteer for the phone bank. You can just show up when you have an hour or two, or if you want to talk to Jim Miervaldis, the Victory '06 Field Director in charge of our phone bank you can call him on (818)339-1572.

We can also use volunteers for the precinct walks for the final 72 hours. If you can volunteer for the precinct walks, please contact Jim Miervaldis (818)339-1572.

We are also having a special phone bank tomorrow (Saturday) at Galpin Ford from 10:00am to 7:00pm. Please come out for an hour or two, or three and help make this election an historic victory for the Republican ticket.

Ron Nehring, Vice Chairman of the California Republican Party wrote an article we should all read. You will find the whole article by clicking on the link below. All of us should read the article. It begins:

The world is run by those who show up.

When the ballots are counted on the evening of November 7th, it won’t be “all” Californians who determine whether the state continues to move forward – just those who voted.

Slate of Officers for 2007

In accordance with our By-Laws, the Nominating Committee will present to the Membership its recommended slate of officers for the SFVRC for 2007 at the November 7th Meeting.

Elections for 2007 Officers will be held at the December meeting. Officers will be elected by the vote of a majority vote of members present at the December meeting. Additional nominations (other than those recommended by the Nominating Committee) may be made from the floor during the December meeting provided the nominees are present or have given their consent in writing. For details, see our By-Laws (link below).

We have some interesting topics to discuss at the meeting and I hope to see you all there.
