San Fernando Valley Republican Club Announcement
Dear Gary,
The next general membership meeting of the San
Fernando Valley Republican Club will be on Tuesday,
March 7, 2006 at 7:00pm at Galpin Ford, 15555
Roscoe Blvd., (Just east of the 405) 2nd Floor
Meeting Room, North Hills.
We will have the following candidates speak to us
and answer questions. We might have other
candidates who we will introduce as well.
Gary Aminoff, President
Candidate for Attorney General
Main Speaker - Ambassador Pierre Prosper
Main Guest Speaker: Ambassador Pierre
Prosper, Candidate for Attorney General. Part of
our "Meet the Candidate" series.
Pierre Prosper has directly advised President George
W. Bush as well as Secretaries of State Condoleezza
Rice and General Colin Powell. Prosper informed U. S.
policy responses during the earliest stages of the
War on Terror as well as atrocities committed in
areas of conflict. As President Bush's envoy, Prosper
negotiated with heads of state, senior intelligence
and military officials from around the world to help
secure peace, build stability and expand the rule of
law in fledgling democracies. Prosper, a lead
prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for
Rwanda, achieved the first successful conviction for
Genocide, and Rape as a Crime Against Humanity.
The fourteen month trial was a groundbreaking
success for the rights of women, ethnic and religious
minorities in developing countries and those
threatened by oppressive regimes across the globe.
Prosper's legacy is his dedication to conservative
values and dominant American principles of equal
justice under the law.
